Riverside Rayne Boutique is an online boutique store located in Sylvania. The owner, Skylar Payne, first launched this boutique in Sept. 2020.
The boutique offers a variety of women’s clothing between the sizes small through large, it occasionally offers some plus size clothes. Her business has started carrying men's t-shirts and hats.
Payne's small business was aspired by working in a boutique store for 2-½ years right after high school, and she loved everything about it, which made her take the risk and start her own business.
“ I would say what inspired me was of course working at a boutique and knowing it was always my passion to work in this environment”, said Business Owner Skylar Payne.
Payne mentioned that she followed many like businesses on social media, which made her want to go ahead and start this boutique business.
This boutique name “Riverside Rayne” is based on what she loves in her everyday life.
“It’s Riverside Rayne because I always grew up going to the river and my niece's middle name is Rayne”, Payne said. "Also, I battled back and forth between a dozen different names that consisted of Rayne being in it, somehow came up with Riverside Rayne and fell in love with it.”
Riverside Rayne Boutique uses different social media platforms to advertise their business. The social media platforms that their business page is on consist of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tik-tok and etc.
This small business industry has been going on over a year now where they plan to keep on expanding.
Overall, this boutique main goal would be to grow. They wanna grow their business, grow their inventory, grow in learning, and growing in every aspect there is for this business.
